Jan Gan Man English Secondary School
Date: February 14, 2026
Theme: Viksit Bharat: Science for a Sustainable Future
Following the inspiration from Pariksha Pe Charcha, Jan Gan Man English Secondary School transformed its campus into a hub of scientific inquiry during its Annual Science Exhibition. The event served as a platform for "Exam Warriors" to apply their theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges, proving that learning goes far beyond textbooks.
The exhibition aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision of making India a global leader in R&D (Research and Development). Students from Primary to Senior Secondary levels showcased over 50 innovative projects, focusing on sustainability, space exploration, and digital technology.
| Category | Highlights |
| Sustainable Energy | Green Hydrogen Prototypes: Models demonstrating how water can be split into fuel. |
| Space Science | Lander & Rover Simulations: Inspired by the success of Chandrayaan, students built scaled models of lunar modules. |
| Smart Tech & AI | Home Automation: Arduino-based systems that control lights and fans via voice or sensors to save electricity. |
| Bio-Diversity | Hydroponic Farming: Vertical garden setups showing how to grow food without soil in urban spaces. |
The "Science Slam": A 2-minute pitch competition where students had to explain a complex scientific concept (like Quantum Entanglement or CRISPR) in simple, everyday language.
DIY Corner: A dedicated space where parents and visitors could perform simple chemistry experiments, such as "Elephant Toothpaste" or "Cabbage pH Indicators."
Virtual Reality (VR) Zone: A journey through the human circulatory system using VR headsets, providing an immersive biological experience.
The projects were evaluated by a panel of guest scientists and local engineers. The criteria weren't just about the "cool factor" but focused on:
Originality: Is the idea fresh?
Social Utility: Does it solve a local problem (e.g., waste management in our city)?
Scientific Temperament: How well did the student follow the scientific method?
"The curiosity displayed by the JGM students today is the foundation of the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' of tomorrow. Seeing a 7th grader explain the mechanics of a drone with such clarity is truly inspiring." — Guest Judge, Senior Scientist
The 2026 Science Exhibition at JGM was more than a school event; it was a celebration of curiosity. It reinforced the message that science is not a subject to be feared, but a tool to be used for the betterment of society.
The management of JMF is from Educational background. Running this Institute for 14 years with a commitment of giving quality learning experiences to each child.
