Objective: To foster meaningful dialogue between parents and educators, review student academic and holistic progress, and collaborate on upcoming institutional initiatives.
A general body meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) was successfully conducted at Jan Gan Man English Secondary School. Centered around the theme, "Join us for a dialogue on your child’s success," the meeting served as an essential platform to bridge the gap between home and school, ensuring an integrated approach to student development. The event witnessed a high turnout of parents, showcasing a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of every student.
Academic and Extracurricular Progress: The faculty presented an overview of the ongoing academic curriculum alongside structural updates designed to enhance student learning. Special emphasis was placed on celebrating recent student milestones, including remarkable performances in regional competitions and national Olympiads.
Infrastructure & Digital Upgrades: The administration shared updates regarding ongoing efforts to modernize school infrastructure. This includes planned advancements in digital learning tools and enhanced school administrative facilities to support interactive, smart-classroom environments.
Student Welfare & Safety Campaigns: Parents were briefed on the school's active participation in community and safety initiatives. Discussions highlighted the impact of recent student programs, such as self-defence workshops, road safety awareness modules, and environmental campaigns like Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam. Additionally, health and hygiene standards—specifically the school's compliance with directive-based Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM)—were reviewed to reassure parents of a safe campus environment.
Skill Development & Special Awareness: The forum reviewed the outcomes of foundational student activities, such as agricultural literacy from recent study trips and civic awareness projects like Jal Pakhwada (water conservation) and Har Ghar Tiranga. The management reiterated that the school focuses on building leadership, discipline, and practical life skills rather than solely tracking conventional test scores.
During the open-floor session, parents actively engaged with the faculty panel. Key discussions focused on:
Individual Performance Tracking: Parents appreciated the detailed progress reports and coordinated closely with teachers to identify specific focus areas for their children.
Digital & Public Showcase: Parents supported suggestions to highlight academic excellence and student achievements on digital platforms to foster community pride and strengthen institutional visibility.
Special Accommodations: The administration reassured parents that the school continues to provide seamless coordination and dedicated support for students requiring specific examination accommodations.
The meeting concluded on a highly positive note with a vote of thanks dedicated to the management of the Jahnvis Multi Foundation (JMF), the school leadership, and the dedicated faculty members who facilitated the event. The collaborative spirit of the meeting reinforced the school's core philosophy that a child's success is a shared journey between dedicated educators and supportive parents.
