Investiture Ceremony Jan Gan Man CBSE School, Dombivali observed the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2022-23 on 4th July 2022. The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion where all students are prepared to carry out leadership roles and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. The Preparation was started 25 days before. Students gave their names for nomination and during recess time visited each class and requested them to vote for them. On one fine day when it was decided the election will be held, students from each class voted for their favorite candidate. Each candidate faced the interview panel. And the leaders were selected by clubbing the points from interviews and voting. The occasion was graced by the benign presence of President Dr. Rajkumar Kolhe, Secretary Dr. Prerna Kolhe Madam, Principal Mrs. Shamala Rao, and Vice Principal Mrs. Jyoti Venkataram. The ceremony began with the parade march along with all the dignitaries as a mark of respect, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the auspicious lamp. __Prefects from each House were elected as Office Bearers. The House Mistresses handed the Flags over to them. The newly elected members of the Prefectorial Board took the oath of office. Thereafter, they were conferred with badges and sashes by President. Dr. Rajkumar Kolhe sir congratulated the team and reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school, and peers. He advised them to be role models for their peers and juniors. Mrs. Prerna Kolhe also addressed students to follow the code of conduct of school and discipline. The head boy and head girl of each class was nominated and The snapshot was taken of President, Principal, Vice Principal, and class teachers along with the Head boy, Head girl. Principal Shamala Madam wished students to do their best and bring a good name to the school.
